In a significant development aimed at strengthening India’s natural rubber ecosystem, a new initiative has been launched to enhance rubber quality in the Northeastern states, where 200,000 hectares are being brought under rubber cultivation since 2022 under Project INROAD. The new initiative is titled INROAD Skilling and Production Efficiency Enhancement Drive abbreviated iSPEED.
