Farmers lock horns with scientists over rubber clone yields in India

    Smallholders and estate holders alike in India’s production hub of Kerala are turning restive over the yield given by the clones used in their rubber plantations. They have now demanded the introduction of GM crops to address this and other issues faced by the farmers.
